Breaking and Entering

The movie Home Alone is one of the world's most favorite Christmas movies. Home Alone has been watched over 5 Billion times and is the second most watched Christmas movie ( right after the Grinch.) Did you know that the scene when Kevin runs into his neighbor's house and it is flooded with water? That house was built in the shallow end of a pool for the movie. Another fact: The picture of Buzz's girlfriend was actually the film art director's son because the director ( Chris Columbus ) thought it would be too cruel to insult any girl. The cousin fuller was actually Kevin Mcallisters brother off set. I asked some people who their favorite characters are. I asked Jaden Gonzalez who his favorite was and he said “ The mom, because she left him home alone.” I asked Leilani Ofisa the same question and she says “ The mom.” I also asked what your favorite part was and Caitlin Brett says “When the cans hit marv and harry in the face.” I personally love this movie and my favorite part was when he set up the traps and they got hurt by them.

Have you ever wondered where it snows the most in the Us?. When it comes to seasonal averages, Mount Rainier has the most snowfall in the United States — 671 inches, or nearly 56 feet, per year. This mountain is also part of the Washington Cascades, and it is second only to Mount Baker for the record of highest annual snowfall in the United States. The city that snows the most is New York City with nearly 100 inches of snow a year. The top 3 snowiest cities in the US are New York, Michigan, and Alaska, Syracuse is the city that snows the most during the winter season. Valdez, Alaska: (297.7 inches) Getting 180 inches of snow in just one month validates bragging rights. Valdez, AK, clobbers the competition as America's snowiest city. Its annual average snowfall of almost 300 inches tops. You can predict whether through measurable changes in the atmosphere. ... Typically, falling atmospheric pressure signals coming precipitation. If air temperatures are right, precipitation will fall as snow (typically between -2° and 2°C or 28° and 35°F). Do you know the history of Christmas? Well if not I would be telling you about how Christmas started! Christmas all started when early Europeans celebrated light and birth in the darkest days of winter. People also celebrate Christmas because between 6 and 4 BC Mary had Jesus and had to travel from Nazareth to Bethlehem. Once they got there all of the inns were full so Jesus was born in a stable. I asked Mr. Perez, “Do you know the history of Christmas?” He said, “ Yes, Christmas was when Jesus was born.” Anyways, people may ask how Santa Claus was invented. Back in 280 A.D Santa would give away gifts to sick and poor people. He then became St.Nicholas and now gives gifts to kids all over the world! Ok now that I talked about most things about Christmas history I will be talking about Christmas traditions! I asked Sierra Taylor “What is one tradition you do with your family during December or on Christmas?” She said, “As a family, we all decorate the Christmas tree.” Now here are some popular traditions people do, such as putting up the Nativity scene, leaving cookies out for Santa,setting up the Christmas tree,making tamales or pozole, and baking Christmas cookies. Would You Survive in a World Full of Monsters?

While moving to a new place, the protagonist Chihiro’s dad makes a wrong turn and they end up at an unknown place with an ominous tunnel. They go through the tunnel and see a small town that looks to be abandoned, where they find a lovely feast in which Chihiro’s parents greedily indulge in. As day turns to night, the town is filled with monsters and Chihiro's parents are turned into pigs. Chihiro runs for the tunnel but only sees water in its place. She finds a boy named Haku, who informs her she needs to get a job here to be safe. She gets a job where Haku works, a spa/resort for the monsters. Chihiro is always told not to trust Haku, but she can’t help but be friends with him. Haku works for Yubaba, the evil overlord of the monster land. While working there, Chihiro meets a woman named Rin, whom she’ll be working with. Right off the bat, Chihiro has the hardest jobs. A man with no face comes to the resort, helping chihiro. No face was very rich and spread gold wherever he went, causing chihiro to receive praise for attracting him there. No face goes crazy and starts eating people and destroying the resort but Chihiro lures him out. Chihiro opposes the overlord, a very dangerous task as Chihiro has already caused many problems for the resort (mainly concerning no face). Chihiro was put in danger because of this, but Haku saves her and they both flee. It is now revealed that Haku is a river spirit, and can turn into a dragon. Haku had been badly injured, but after Chihiro cures him they go back to the resort and devise a plan for Chihiro to finally escape the monster land and save her parents. The plan works and Chihiro has been permitted to leave with her parents, who have been turned back into humans. This film is by Studio Ghibli and is 2 hours and 5 minutes long.
Nightmare Before Christmas

I think everyone can agree that The Nightmare before christmas is definitely a fan favorite out of christmas movies. The nightmare before christmas is a stop motion animation movie from 1993. The creator of The nightmare before christmas is Tim Burton but some of the voice actors in the movie are Danny Elfman as Jack Skellington, Ken Page as oogie boogie, Catherine O’hara as sally, Glenn Shadix as The mayor, William Hickey as Doctor Finkelstein, and Edward Ivory as santa. The nightmare before christmas movie has been around for about 25 years and has been a fan favourite for some time now. The nightmare before christmas movie is known mainly for its great song. A pretty well known fact about the songs is that Jack Skellington's voice actor was a different person than his voice actor that sang the songs. Jack Skellington's voice actor is Danny Elfman and his main voice actor was Chris Sarandon. Some of the songs in the movie are This Is Halloween, Jack's Obsession, What's This, Kidnap The Sandy Claws And Oogie Boogie's Song. Nightmare before Christmas took about three years to finish since it's a stop motion animation movie, stop motion animation is . Some things that people have said about The nightmare before christmas is Santi Arenas said that his favourite scene in the “movie oogie boogies entrance scene”, I also asked Colleen Pruitt she said that “she doesn't have a favourite song because she likes them all”, Also Gwen Ugapo said her favorite character is “sallies dad doctor Finklestein”, Another person is Tony said his least favorite character was “oogie boogie”, Then last and finally is Elena Gebard said she thinks the “most unique character is sally because she's just a bunch of different body parts put together and her color scheme and the fact that she's the female version of frankenstein”.

What is your favorite Christmas movie? As you all know, it is close to Christmas and people are looking forward to this holiday, especially the movies. There are some new Christmas movies such as: “Home Sweet Home Alone” & “A Boy called Christmas.” Besides new ones, some old popular Christmas movies are: “Polar Express,” “Home Alone,” “Nightmare Before Christmas,” and “A Christmas Carol,” We asked Nathan Murawski what is a good christmas movie suggestion, he said, “A Christmas story is a good movie.” A lot of people (especially during Christmas) like to have snacks and hot chocolate during a movie. Mia Meza said, “ I like all snacks except Black licorice, Bleh.” Are you ready to watch Christmas movies? We wish you a great Christmas break!
History of Pro-Football

Football is an exciting sport that has fans all over the world. It’s considered the biggest sport on the planet, played by more than 240 million people around the world. The game is worth billions of dollars. The first known example of a team football game originated from the Chinese military. The Chinese used to play a game called Tsu Chu, which involved the kicking of a ball made of leather and filled with hair and feathers through a small opening into some sort of net. The player couldn’t use their hands but had to use their bodies to fend off the opponents who were trying to put them off by jumping on top of them. About 500 years later the Japanese called their game Kemari. This was a team sport game where you had to stop the ball from touching the ground. This game is still played today by the Japanese but helps create what we call Football.
Today’s football game takes its origins from the Chinese and Japanese. Football also took most of how its game is played by a sport called Rugby. The first organized football game was said to be played as early as 1581 in the schools of England, The first time the word “football” was used was in 1409.
Skyscraper

Skyscraper was filmed on July 12, 2018.American action thriller film written and directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber, and starring Dwayne Johnson in the title role, never campbell, chin han, roland moller, Noah Taylor, Byron Mann, Pablo Schreiber, and Hannah Quinlivan. The film follows johnson as a former FBI agent who must rescue his family from a newly built Hong Kong skyscraper, the tallest in the world after it is taken over by terrorists and set on fire. The first non-comedy of thurbers career,it also marks his second collaboration with johnson. Global superstar Dwayne Johnson leads the cast of legendary skyscrapers as former FBI hostage resume team leader and U.S war veteran Will Sawyer, whose assignment in Hong Kong he finds the talles, safest building in the world, the pearl, suddenly ablaze, and he's been framed for it. A wanted man on the run, will mushed find those responsible, clear his name and somehow resume his family who is trapped inside the building...above the fire line.
Decorate The Season

Decorating this time of the season is so magical and fun for people to see and enjoy. Helping your family decorate is so fun but sometimes can be challenging. After you are done decorating, it looks so beautiful and magical that you appreciate all of the hard work that goes into putting up all the decorations. Some easy ways to decorate 1: lights 2: Christmas blow-ups 3: A tree with decorations 4: Tensile. Christmas is not about the presents it’s about spending time with the people you love and care about. Here are some things that people do to decorate for Christmas. We talked to a few students and asked them what they do to decorate for Christmas. Brooklyn Connor said that her family "puts up lights, tensile and a blow-up Santa Claus." We also asked Olivia Scott what she does and she replied with "I do help by putting up a tree with my family and putting up lights and tensile”. What do you do on Christmas?
All Wrapped Up

What can you do on Christmas you ask?! Well here's some ideas. You can go to a vacation house and hangout with your family.You can also go to the mall to see some of Santa's helpers and take some family pictures. A lot of people like Christmas because of the food and the presents.If you are feeling lazy to make breakfast for Christmas morning you can make it the day before and just heat it up the morning of the day. The best vacation places to go are New York, Washington, California, and Colorado.These are the best because you can have something fun to do and so you don't have to sit at home all day. If you don't have a tradition yet here are a couple: Watch a Christmas movie, set up your tree, and set up your decorations. Here's a few places to go and have some fun: Queen Mary Ice Rink located in Long Beach CA, Go drive around and see people's houses. We asked Elliana Lopez what she liked about Christmas and she said “I like getting presents and spending time with my family’’. We also asked Mr. Perez what he liked and he said ‘’Spending time with my family”.
NBA best dunkers

There are alot of good dunkers but Zach LaVine is the best, he plays for the Chicago Bulls, the bulls are the 2nd best in the eastern conference this season. Zach LaVine is 6’5 foot and is 26 years old. Next is Jason Richardson is the 2nd best dunker in the NBA, he played for the Golden State Warriors. He is 40 year old. He is 6’6 foot and played for the NBA for 14 seasons. Blake Griffin is a professional basketball player, and is 6’9. Blake Griffin is on the Brooklyn Nets this 2021 Basketball season. Blake Griffin is 32 years old and is worth 26 million dollars. Dunking is special because it is challenging, and it makes it harder. And also there are a lot of different dunks. Also Tysean said his favorite dunker is Russel Westbrook. And Gauge’s favorite dunker is Lebron James. There were most of the NBA best dunkers!
How to Play Soccer

There are different positions and there are only four possible positions in soccer. The first is goalie and how to play this is by guarding the goal and making sure that you are not in it because they can still score even if you are holding it. Also there is a blue line where you can grab the ball and there is a bigger one and you can go out to that one too but don’t go too far because they might pass it to someone and score it in. Next is midfielder and how to play this is by playing left or right and you can go anywhere on your side of the field and if you go on the other one and if you are not the center one that is called offsides and you can get in trouble because of it. Also you have to go back if the ball is in or is about to go in the goal. Next is striker or front and to play is that is by always being on the offensive side and you can’t go too far to your goal and you are the one that usually scores a goal. Finally defence and you are the one that defends the goal and just like midfielder you only go on your side and your limit on going up is halfway and if the ball is really close you can get closer to the goal. Also the forward usually scores the ball and sometimes midfielder does too and the best way is probably putting your back to them so they don’t get the ball and if your defence and the ball is close to the ball you can kick it out but only on the sides and not to the back of the goal then it will be a corner kick. Then if you are goalie you don’t have to pick up the ball you can also kick it and that is ok but if you kick it off sides which is if the ball goes out and you go to the other side of where they kicked it then that is bad.

7on7 is basic like football but you don't wear pads or a helmet you wear a short shirt and tight shorts and a soft helmet.It is like 2 hand touch but it is more interesting because you can push people super hard. There is a quarterback, a running back and 4 reservoirs there are no linemen. You can play in a lot of places like az beaumont yucaipa and a lot more places around the world. Some facts you run a lot, times you go far to play a game and you can play multiple games in one day it can be tiring but it is super fun you get to stay in shape. If you play for Beaumont you practice at the sports park by the high school it is a big park. You can play after the real football season. I think it is like 3 or 4 weeks after the real football season. If you like football you should try it like i said it is super fun to play you make friends.you have one quarter it is 20 minutes long and you have time outs like the real games in football you have 4 seconds to throw the ball then you you get a one minute when its been 10 minutes.
